Taking down pictures from the walls and emptying out the kitchen cupboards is a strange feeling when you’ve come to call a place home. I had to take a deep breath after starting to pack up our Virginia apartment this week. Our cute little place is now lined with boxes, bags and piles of things to pack up. Change is good -but it always brings its challenges, as anything new does.
This month I know I’m not alone. In the fall, big changes happen for many people. Back to school, not going back to school, summer job ending, new job beginning, moving, new baby, or changing weather: you name it, and someone is experiencing it. Many look forward to these changes with excitement, some with apprehension, or like me, with a strange mixture of both. However you cope with change, you probably have developed your own ways to get through it.
